On April 17th, Jake Paul shut all his naysayers by scoring a thunderous T/KO win over the MMA veteran, Ben Askren. This was his biggest win in a short yet attractive career. Everything in this fight went as planned for ‘The Problem Child’. However, there was one juncture where he was left unimpressed.

The official broadcaster of this fight, Triller, brought in the comedian Pete Davidson to host the Paul vs Askren event. With that opportunity in hand, Davidson roasted the YouTuber turned boxer, leaving him furious.

Recently, Jake Paul was on the Impaulsive podcast and he commented on Davidson. ‘The Problem Child’  said, “F*** that guy. He won’t do s**t, he won’t ever be a part of one of those ever again. He f*** this s*** up bro.”

In this podcast, the 24-year-old admitted that he’d suggested Pete Davidson’s name for being the show host, but he didn’t enjoy Davidson mocking him during the event.

Moreover, ‘The Problem Child’ reverted to all of Davidson’s insults in his above comments and vowed to never bring in the comedian in his subsequent fights.

Jake Paul vs Ben Askren – A fight worth the hype

Ever since a fight between the two got announced, it sent the boxing fans into a frenzy. Also, this was the first time when Jake Paul locked horns with someone from the fight world. Though Askren entered this fight as a retired MMA star, a huge chunk of the fans expected him to give ‘The Problem Child’ a sturdy boxing lesson.

But when the pair stepped inside the ring against each other, it was ‘The Problem Child’ who completely overshadowed ‘Funky’. As the fight began, Paul made his intentions clear on winning this bout with ease, and he delivered in style.

In round 1 itself, he struck Askren with a classic jab and punch combination to floor the former UFC star to secure his third successive T/KO win.

What do you make of Paul’s comments on Pete Davidson? Do you think the YouTuber boxer will really not allow Davidson around his next fight?
