When you look at the fighters who drastically changed the boxing landscape in recent times, the likes of Floyd Mayweather and Canelo Alvarez will easily find their names mentioned. But then there is Jake Paul, who is leading a revolution in the boxing world. What started as a passion project soon turned into a professional commitment. He has covered the journey from a boxing fan to a boxer, and a promoter, all within a short duration. That’s not it.
‘Problem Child’ has also mastered the art of packaging himself and promoting himself as a premium commodity. It’s the same quality that attracted the eye of Jerry Jones, who helmed the Dallas Cowboys and made them a household brand. When the two met recently, before an intense faceoff between Paul, 27, and Mike Tyson, 58, at the AT&T Stadium, the American businessman was all praise for him.
Paul and Jones met before the Cowboys’ game against the New Orleans Saints. While addressing the reporters, the 10-1 record holder said, “He said I’m the best marketer in sports. Jerry Jones approved.”

Undeniably, Paul has also racked up millions and sold thousands of PPVs whenever he has fought. Despite his crude but powerful punches, he has swept the boxing world. But the YouTuber-turned-boxer is currently focused on his fight with Tyson and the fight card is only growing.
