The highly controversial Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson fight has been the talk of the town. The fight had everything, from hype to one of the biggest crowds to both boxers receiving one of their highest paydays ever. After the fight, ‘the Problem Child’ declared himself the new ‘Face of Boxing’. Considering how many boxers have called him out since the fight, the declaration won’t be entirely wrong.
In the post-match interviews, Jake Paul also talked about how fighters like Canelo Alvarez and Gervonta Davis need him because of the payday he can offer them. And once again, seeing the amount he made against Mike Tyson, he won’t be entirely wrong. On November 16, at the AT&T Stadium, ‘the Baddest Man in the Planet’ had his first professional match in 20 years. He finished all eight rounds but was like a passenger after the opening minutes of the bout. The situation was so dire that ‘the Problem Child’ had to carry the whole match.
According to CompuBox, the former Heavyweight Champion was only able to connect with 18 of his total 97 punches thrown along with just 5 of 62 jabs. However, Paul refused to take advantage of the sluggish movement of Tyson and did not knock him out. As a result, it became a fight with very few punches, and with Jake Paul reportedly earning $40 million from the fight, he banked a whopping $2.2 million for every punch he took from Mike Tyson.

In just 4 days since the fight, the former YouTuber has come under the radar of a lot of boxers. Boxing champions have been calling out the 27-year-old constantly and just like always, rather than answering directly, Jake Paul has been riling them up with his shenanigans.
Jake Paul in the spotlight
Boxing champions like Artur Beterbiev, Gervonta Davis, and now Daniel Dubois have called out the former YouTuber for a match. Muhammad Ali‘s grandson, Nico Ali Walsh, also expressed his desire to avenge Mike Tyson under a very specific condition. Tank uploaded several stories on his Instagram, challenging the 11-1 boxer for a match while the Tyson-Paul match was still going on.
While Gervonta Davis later deleted the stories, the damage was already done as boxing reporters asked Paul about this comment and if he would be interested in the fight. In a surprising move, El Gallo agreed to the fight and stated that “Gervonta needs Jake Paul,” instead of it being the other way around. A few days ago, undisputed light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev asked Paul, “What can you do in the ring against the current undisputed champ?” and challenged him to a match.

Beterbiev also put all his titles on the line. While Jake Paul acknowledged the challenge, he left the fans confused with his comment, neither accepting nor rejecting the challenge. Dynamite Daniel Dubois became the latest entry to challenge Jake Paul for a match and gave the latter a shot at his IBF heavyweight championship. Dubois slid in Paul’s Instagram messages to lay down the challenge, who asked him to “get in line” and later posted the chat screenshot on his ‘X.’
Man been boxing for 12 years, has over 100 fights between amateur and pro and fought on my undercard…hahaha
But fuck it…I’m going to have Nakisa talk to Frankie Warren and get you in line for the throne. Unlike Artur, at least you have a few thousand fans pic.twitter.com/J2CWIkYRZQ

However, it looks like Jake Paul might accept Dubois’ challenge before Beterbiev. The Problem Child wrote that he will talk to Nakisa Bidarian, CEO of MVP, to get in touch with Frank Warren and start the talks because, “Unlike Artur, at least you have a few thousand fans,” Jake added.
It is yet to be seen who Jake Paul will fight next. He can even make his MMA debut, which has been rumored for a considerable amount of time. However, considering the payday he can offer to his opponent, he won’t have a lack of challengers. Who do you think Paul will face next? Let us know in the comments below.
