Jake Paul always has a way with words. He excels at it, whether it’s the art of selling fights or launching verbal attacks on his opponents. No one has been untouched, and Tommy Fury is no exception. It seems this time the American fighter has even gone a step further and gone a bit personal.
Fury, 25, has become a target in the boxing community after he pulled out of a scheduled fight with Darren Till. Why? Because the former UFC star threatened to kick him. This development prompted Paul, 27, to turn to his X handle and question his former rival’s “credibility.” However, these comments didn’t sit well with the Love Island fame boxer. Listing out his wins over KSI and ‘Problem Child,’ he wrote, “I’ve got plenty of credibility pal, beat both you and that other mug inside 9 months.”
These comments only fueled the heated exchange, as Paul, at 11-1, then dragged Molly Mae into the conversation. Fury and Mae met at Love Island and instantly hit off. The couple was even blessed with a daughter last January. But the two split this August, ending their five-year relationship in light of rumors surrounding Fury’s infidelity. Focusing on this, Paul remarked, “Is that what you said to Molly mae when she left your dirty a*s, “pal”?”

As expected, this comment drew a scathing response from the British boxer, who blasted the YouTuber-turned-prizefighter for mixing personal life into their heated rivalry.
Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul II but a word-war
Fury blasted the Cleveland native for going personal instead of discussing the boxing aspect. In addition, he believed Paul was afraid of another loss at his hands. He responded, “🤣🤣🤣 resorting to my personal life when you haven’t got a clue, instead of discussing boxing. I must really be living in your head rent free since I beat you. The fear of another L is real…”

Fury is currently on the hunt for another suitable match for his next fight after withdrawing from the Till fight. While he did call out Paul in a recent video clip, the chances of a rematch might be slim. Given the closely contested nature of their first fight and a controversial decision, many thought a rematch would follow. But it didn’t happen.

Paul’s stocks have increased drastically since the Mike Tyson fight, whereas Fury hasn’t fought in over a year because of injury-related issues. It remains to be seen whether they run it back or not. But they are surely making it entertaining on social media.
