If on January 28 it was, “The moment you’ve waited a decade for… March 27th on,” a few hours ago, it morphed into, “One Paul will fall.” Jake Paul‘s message contained details about an Instagram presser at 4 pm and a short clip featuring elder brother Logan Paul. So are the Paul brothers on a warpath? It’s been two months since the Ohio-born YouTuber-turned-boxer fought ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson.
Maybe not for the fight per se, the November 15 event at the Cowboys Stadium that featured the Katie Taylor–Amanda Serrano rematch on the co-main turned out to be a hugely successful business experiment. Ever since, speculations have been rife about Paul’s next fixture. Usual trolls occupy the general discourse. But some fans are genuinely intrigued about Jake Paul’s first fight in the new year. There was a time when the two blood brothers were reportedly fierce rivals. It might be a thing of the past. Nevertheless, a potential fight with Logan Paul makes for a gripping plot. ‘The Problem Child’ spilled the beans on their relationship during their days as young YouTubers in a recent interview.

“Young kids in the church, they used to say that Logan Paul was the bigger star. Is that the case? Because the way you talk, like you both were big or you were bigger, who was it?” asked Barak Bess. Jake Paul admitted that during those days, Logan was definitely ‘bigger.’
“The first video that we did that went viral, um, he gained like 5,000 followers, and I gained like 3,000 followers, and it’s always been that ratio, you know, that 3-to-5 ratio, like all the way up until recently,” he said. They roused the host’s curiosity. He quizzed whether the boxer finally overshadowed the WWE star’s numbers.
“Yeah,” responded Jake Paul. Bess probed further, “And what happened when that happened? Did you call him? Did he acknowledge it, or are you just saying it now?” The former Disney star acknowledged that he’s confirming it now.

‘The Problem Child’ and ‘The Maverick’
Nakisa Bidarian pitched in. The MVP co-founder quipped how over a period of time, his friend witnessed a steady rise in popularity. Jake Paul added, “Yeah, he just had more followers, but I was more of a views guy for some reason. I don’t know; it’s really weird.”

He clarified. Unlike what some of the followers believed, it was never really about competing against his elder brother. He rather looked up to Logan and wanted to be like him. He said, “I was just like having fun making videos with my older brother. I didn’t look at it as numbers; I was like, ‘We’re both rich.’”

The revelation follows Jake Paul coming clean on his brother’s association with Dana White. As most fans are aware, ‘The Problem Child’ and the UFC president haven’t enjoyed the best of terms. At opportune times, both parties have hurled taunts and jabs at each other. Nevertheless, it will be intriguing for many fans. They will be keen to see a fight between a YouTuber-turned-boxer, who’s often accused of fighting retired UFC champions or boxers past their prime, and a YouTuber-turned-WWE sensation, who hasn’t been that lucky in the ring.
