Remember those crazy fights like Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather and Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou? Things got heated recently though, when a video showed UFC fighter Sean Strickland going way too hard on a streamer named Sneako during sparring.

Additionally, Jake Paul also called Strickland out and offered him a cool $1 million for a sparring session. Yikes! This whole situation shows that the world of combat sports is changing fast, and it’s not always pretty. But as of now, there is no update regarding the contest between Paul and Strickland, and ‘The Problem Child’ also revealed that Strickland might be ducking him.

This weekend, Jake Paul faces Ryan Bourland, a familiar dance. But Paul’s sights are fixated further down the line, on a different kind of opponent. Sean Strickland, a seasoned UFC fighter with a reputation for raw power and a sharp tongue, is the name haunting Paul’s training sessions. In Paul’s eyes, Strickland is a phantom – a dance he desperately wants, but Strickland seems determined to avoid a match-up against Paul.

It’s absurd since, not a long time ago, Strickland seemed ready to take on Jake Paul in a sparring session. However, on BS w/ Jake Paul, he revealed, “It’s a typical story of these UFC guys who call me out and then go quiet. I said, ‘I’ll send you the PJ, let me know where, we can spar for a million dollars.’ Oh I’d get sued by the UFC if I sparred Jake, but you just sparred Sneako. You could spar anyone, contractually in your UFC contract, it says nothing about sparring.

Furthermore, he stated, “I see a very insecure, lost, wannabe like alpha male that’s hiding behind the tough man complex, he needs a hug. Mr. Seany I’ll put my soft little hands on his little bald head and make him feel the love that his mother or father never gave him.” So, even after insisting on sending a private jet for him, Strickland didn’t want to indulge in sparring with the Youtuber-turned-boxer. During this conversation, he even went ahead and revealed their private DMs.

Jake Paul added the screenshots of the DMs in this video, and the chats were leaked separately on social media as well. This garnered the fans’ attention instantly and became a topic of discussion in the community. It turned out after Strickland punished Sneako, Paul reached out to him with an offer. He wrote, “Can you come next week? Any day works! Will send you a plane.

After this, he talked about how he’ll need to have a conversation with the UFC and persuade them to make it happen. Paul proposed a sparring session instead. Strickland replied, “I’m gonna talk to Hunter about a fight. Man that is a big f***ing paycheck let me see what I can do.” Since this message, it seems like there hasn’t been any conversation regarding the fight.

Now, it’s to be seen if Strickland will reply to Paul after such a response from Jake Paul since he’s not the man who’d sit silently after being humiliated. What are your thoughts about this? Let us know in the comments section.
