Despite their shared background as YouTubers, Jake Paul and KSI aren’t exactly close. KSI has made it clear that he doesn’t hold a favorable opinion of Jake, deeming him not a good person and expressing a dislike for everything about him. According to KSI, there’s a sense that Jake is constantly ready to undermine the hard work and achievements that KSI has put in. The beef has been going on for years now and KSI decided fighting Tommy Fury after his victory over Paul would solve matters, only to lose to him via unanimous decision.
Paul is set to step back into the boxing ring next month against Andre August, marking his return after a decision win over Nate Diaz. This upcoming bout will also be Paul’s first ten-rounder, adding a new dimension to the YouTuber’s boxing journey. For his next plan, Paul is now looking to put an end to their feud once and for all by battling it out with the Prime Hydration co-founder. In a recent interview, he has laid down his conditions.

The infamous YouTuber is more than willing to face his long-time rival. “I’m ready. We could do it tomorrow. I’ve said to him, we could do it in your home turf, 185 pounds. What’s the excuse? Where is the negotiation getting stalled at?”. ‘The Problem Child’ is even up for a fight at KSI’s home turf but the weight has to be 185 lbs. Paul is not compromising on these terms.
“Oh, it’s that you want to s**k me down to 180 pounds and have a rehydration clause. I couldn’t even make the weight, let alone not be able to rehydrate. You’re the aside, on your home turf, 185 pound. 50-50 split, what’s the holdup?” A 180 lbs. fight is not practical, according to Paul. Moreover, a rehydration clause makes it worse. With a 50-50 split and the above-mentioned conditions, Paul has called KSI to put a rest on the assumptions and speculations.

Post his fight with August, Paul has a few more names he would want to face off against. He once again threw down the gauntlet, calling out heavyweights in the combat sports scene. Other than KSI, he invited Canelo Alvarez and even Conor McGregor. While McGregor is slated to face Michael Chandler upon his UFC return in 2024, Paul’s persistence seems unwavering.
In a recent interview with Fox, McGregor’s manager, Audie Attar, acknowledged the possibility of a boxing match between Paul and McGregor, emphasizing that with the former UFC champion, anything is on the table. “I think anything’s always possible. You never say never. It’s all about how things line up.” said Attar.
KSI and Paul’s rivalry adds an interesting flavor to a potential fight. However, McGregor is a formidable opponent. Earning a victory against the ‘Notorious’, though challenging, will solidify Paul’s standing in the world of combat sports altogether. Who would you want to see in the ring with Paul?
