On December 18, 2021, Jake Paul was all set to meet his first pro-boxing opponent, Tommy Fury, in the ring. However, the Briton pulled out of the fight due to a rib injury and chest infection. That said, Paul had to keep his fight alive, and he battled Tyron Woodley on the same date.

Eventually, Paul ended up bagging a mammoth KO win over his rival. Since that fight, many fans expected Paul to again resurrect his talks with Tommy Fury and his team for a potential clash. But Paul doesn’t seem interested in a fight against ‘TNT’ at this point.

Recently, ‘The Problem Child’ was in a conversation with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour.

Here he said, “He’s delusional you know and he sort of missed his chance and opportunity and I sort of want him to fight Tyron Woodley and see what happens there. Because I think Tyron would knock Tommy out and so I almost want to have them fight. Because Tommy, people only know him because of me.”

“And so I want him to go like, go get some of your own fans or clout or go do some other thing, and then maybe we could run it back after that.”

These days, Jake Paul is relishing his time outside the game and isn’t really on toes to book his next fight.
