Can Javon Walton prove his boxing prowess, or is he just another Hollywood star in the ring?

Javon Walton makes his comeback. The Euphoria star and boxing prospect will attempt to strengthen his boxing credentials and move back to the winner’s column when he makes a return on the December 13 card promoted by Most Valuable Promotions. The fight has traction and all the buzz, and Jake Paul has decided to fuel it further.

Walton, 18, will fight Erik Hanley at the Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando as a supporting act on the MVP 10 fight card. The ticket for the four-round super featherweight affair will go live this coming Monday. The fans are excited to see what improvements and adjustments Walton, at 1-0-1, brings to the fight. In his last fight in March against Joshua Torres, he was held to a majority draw. It’s a result he wants to improve the next time he steps into the ring.

Paul, 27, turned to the comment section of the Instagram post and lauded the Euphoria star. ‘Problem Child expected him to bring the best version of him yet. He wrote, “Going to be the best Wanna yet!” That’s not all. Former WBA and The Ring lightweight champion Jorge Linares also took to the comments and expressed his excitement at seeing ‘Wanna’ back in action. He noted, “See you there CHAMP.. 🔥🔥🔥”

Notably, Walton and Hanley, 31, were supposed to fight it out initially in September at the same venue. However, the fight fell off after the Atlanta native had to pull out of the fight with injuries and being “medically unfit.” The fans might not be aware, but he comes from a boxing family, as his father, DJ Walton, is a boxing coach. What’s more? He went through homeschooling so that he could focus on his boxing career. While Walton has also taken the Hollywood path to stardom, he still harbors ambitions to be the best inside the squared circle.

In a conversation with Us Weekly, Walton declared, “I will continue to showcase to the world why I’m here, and one day I’ll be able to fight for a world title.” These statements came after he went through a not-so-exciting fight with Torres. A performance, which the Hollywood star has attributed to injuries. Now he wants to showcase his skills and be an improved version of himself.

Walton declared, “I’m incredibly thankful for the support of my team and fans as I got back to full health and training this past month. And I’m grateful for the chance to get back in the ring on Friday, December 13, after having to reschedule this fight. I’ve put in the hard work. And I’m ready to show the world the new and improved Wanna Walton.” It remains to be seen how he fares against Hanley, who is much older than him and is coming off a win. But if Paul, at 10-1, is to be believed, Walton will breeze past his opponent.
