After a heated and tense press conference at Arlington, a similar fate awaited Jake Paul. The ride back home turned out to be an unforgettable one, as the American boxer’s plane got stuck in bad weather conditions, and the amusing clip drew hilarious reactions from the fans.

‘The Problem Child’ had participated in the festivities of the Arlington press conference, where both he and Mike Tyson brought their trashing A-game. While ‘Iron Mike’ blasted him for his thin resume and weight concerns, Paul predicted an outcome similar to what Buster Douglas did to Tyson in 1990. However, this high spirit would soon evaporate as the lightning struck his plane.

The 27-year-old turned to his Instagram handle as he uploaded the clip of his private jet going against the vagaries of bad weather. The caption read, “The way home from the presser was interesting.”

Moreover, the clip had visuals of Paul holding off the plane’s sides and a seat to stabilize himself. He believed the gods were at war, and therefore, they were facing bad weather conditions. He also evoked Zeus, the god of lightning and thunder in Greek mythology. The fans could hear him say, “We woke up. The Gods are at war. They are lightning on the plane, brother. Zeus, I love you, brother.” The fans would then flock to the comment section and leave interesting remarks.

Fans’ frenzy: ‘The Problem Child’ comes under fire

A user believed that Paul was faking the incident, so he didn’t need to fight Tyson on July 20 at AT&T Arena in Arlington. They wrote, “My guy trying to fake his death so he doesn’t need to fight.”

One fan called the lightning strike on the plane, similar to the former heavyweight champion’s thunderous punches. Tyson had a reputation for bringing carnage to the boxing ring and dismantling opponents. They declared, “First hit from Mike Tyson.”

Likewise, a comment took the lightning as a sign of not fighting Tyson. A similar unpredictable and dangerous fate could be awaiting him in the ring. They responded, “Warning from God man don’t fight iron Mike.”

Instead of Zeus, someone called Tyson the ‘god of war’ because of his fearsome attitude and never-back-down approach. They announced, “That s coming from god of war, called Mike Iron Tyson.”

Meanwhile, another user extended his wishes to Paul as he replied in the comments, “Stay safe Jake.”

Another fan alluded to the coming fight between Tyson and Paul and warned the latter of an ominous outcome. They cautioned Paul, “It’s a warning of what’s coming!”

However, one comment called out Paul for staging and faking the incident, as they believed the clip could have been fake. Some fans have previously criticized Paul for fabricating a career based on fake fights. They stated, “Why he gotta fake everything.”

Lastly, someone noted, “Man always pulling stunts.”
