The WBO inter-continental middleweight title bout between Jaime Munguia and Gabriel Rosado stayed true to the buzz, and it came out even better than expected. Both the fighters gave it their all to keep the fans on the edge of their seats. Yet, in the end, it was Munguia’s night as he attained a significant unanimous decision win to allure his fans.

The fight began well for the champ, Munguia, as he employed his long and strong jabs. He not only looked to attack Rosado’s chin, but also connected some good body shots. As the fight progressed, Munguia pulled up the pace and marched Rosado down with his combinations.

‘King’ went on a defensive mode and this allowed Munguia to go all out against him. However, the former, alongside his defense, landed some exuberant jabs to keep the fight level.

Despite that, Munguia seemed too fast and skilled for Rosado. The champ relied heavily on his combinations and right hooks, and he got some notable success with the same.

Eventually, both of them turned aggressors, but Munguia had a certain edge here. As the fight progressed, the scuffle between the two got much more intense.

In the later rounds, Rosado landed some slick uppercuts on Munguia, who seemed unmoved.

Despite being the underdog, Gabriel Rosado did his absolute best to go toe-to-toe and present Munguia with a rugged fight.

But the champ broke into ‘King’s defense and he undoubtedly landed a barrage of his best shots.

In round 8, Gabriel Rosado hurt Munguia with one a prolific right hand. But the champ somehow continued the fight.

In the concluding rounds, Rosado hurt Munguia badly. However, the Mexican boxer responded with some fiery counterattacks as well.

However, as Rosado only had minor moments within rounds, it was not enough to see him depart with the win. Hence, it was Munguia who got his hand raised.
