Tyson Fury announced his retirement on Saturday night after clinching a stunning victory over Dillian Whyte. The news of the retirement of the greatest technician of this generation caught the attention of the boxing world, and they reacted to it.

In the post-fight talk, the British star announced he was bidding adieu to his professional career. The 33-year-old said, “I promised my lovely wife Paris for 14 years that after the Wilder three-fight, that would end and I meant it.”

The news broke out and became a buzz. But Fury’s promoter, Bob Arum, refused to agree with it.

Talking to the USA Today, he said, “No, he definitely won’t retire. Of course not. Are you crazy?”
