The 29-year-old registered a historical win on August 27. The 1-0 boxer stepped inside the ring twice within a duration of a few hours at London’s O2 Arena. First, he locked horns with his former companion rapper Swarmz, who had never laced gloves before and it was quite clear from the initials seconds.
The Youtuber dropped his friend in the first round, who was running around the edges of the ring. However, he survived and tried to escape from falling prey to KSI’s power. But finally gave up in the second round and accepted his fate by waiting for the counts to finish.
Following the win over Swarmz, the star of night returned for the main event of the night to face a pro-boxer, Luis Alcaraz Pineda. However, KSI prevailed.
Pineda, the 2-5 boxer, showed no signs of a mature pugilist. Only a few months of KSI’s training was enough to drop this pro-clown several times.
From the opening round only, Pineda tried to avoid KSI’s punches. However, he was not able to execute this too. The rapper caught him with body punches and heavy hands on the head that forced him to touch the floor thrice in the first round, twice in the second, and thrice in the third till the referee came in to stop the one-sided slugfest.
KSI: Jake Paul reacts to the victory
Social media personality, Jake Paul, who wanted to be part of KSI’s August 27 fight card, shared the name that could thrash the YouTuber.
Following KSI’s win, Paul wrote, “Nate Robinson would beat KSI.”
