Did Floyd Mayweather negatively influence boxing?

Floyd Mayweather’s presence still dominates the boxing world, even in retirement. Where his recent exhibition matches draw huge audiences, his popularity endures. Furthermore, his deep interest in recent developments in boxing shows his continued engagement in the sport. However, in the video, the YouTuber, ShowBizz The Adult threw a peculiar light on Pretty Boy’s career.

As he said, “Floyd Mayweather is one of the greatest ever but the way he impacted the game made boxing shi**y. It’s not that Floyd was a shi*ty boxer; he’s an all-time great. His influence resonated and made people try to be Money Mayweather before being pretty boy, and that’s how he negatively impacted the sport. Though he did it properly, Floyd got a crazy resume, all-time great fighter, legendary fighter. The guy was magnificent, went about his career like a boss. It’s just that everybody wanted to be money.”

However, Money’s loyal fans came to his defense.
