World Champion boxer Katie Taylor was ready to defend her titles again in a rematch against Amanda Serrano. But the latter had to pull out due to an injury. As fans awaited this rematch, the news of it not happening was upsetting. But Eddie Hearn has given a piece of positive news to the boxing world regarding the next fight of Katie Taylor. Even though Taylor could not get the rematch against Serrano, she is willing to take on a new challenge.
Recently, Hearn gave the fans an update on a potential fight between Taylor and the undisputed super-lightweight champion Chantelle Cameron, and fans have mixed reactions to the news.

TalkSport’s Michael Benson shared an excerpt of Eddie Hearn’s interview with MetroSport. Hearn indicated that the next fight between Taylor and Cameron would be held in Ireland, the homeland of Taylor. If this fight happens, it will be ‘The Bray Bomber’s’ first fight in her home country.

Initially, May 20 was the rematch between Taylor and Serrano, but as the Puerto Rican had to pull out from the fight, Cameron will replace her at 3 Arena in Dublin. Hearn said that he believes there is a “very good chance.” of the fight coming to fruition. The clash in Dublin will be for the undisputed WBA, WBC, IBF & WBO super-lightweight world titles.
Taylor also took to Instagram to call out Cameron for a shot at her titles. Cameron wrote, “Let’s get it done. This homecoming has waited long enough.” She added, “happy to move up in weight for the opportunity to become a two-weight Undisputed champ.”
