Logan Paul is the flag bearer of celebrity boxing bouts. A couple of years back, he fought fellow YouTuber KSI, and since then; the sport saw a new trend in form of exhibition/celebrity boxing bouts. This trend has now taken over the sport of boxing and not just YouTubers, but boxing legends like Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson, and more have contributed to the game by taking on exhibition fights.

Also, with time, ‘The Maverick, ‘ who eventually began this trend, has added on to his skills and has only improved. With his tall frame, Paul exhibits vast abilities to give a tough outing to any and every opponent thrown in front of him. Recently, Badou Jack, on Mike Tyson’s podcast, spoke about fighting Logan Paul.

But ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ warned him about the same, saying, “It’s not gonna be easy fight. He fights now, he’s so into the greatest fighter to ever live, godamn.”

In June 2021, Logan Paul fought the biggest opponent of his life, Floyd Mayweather, in an exhibition fight where many boxing pundits felt ‘Pretty Boy’ would knock ‘The Maverick’ out. But when the actual fight took place, the YouTuber turned boxer shook everyone as he held his own in the ring.

That said, Paul had put in a tremendous amount of hard work and that was undoubtedly visible in that epic collision. Looking at his performance in that bout, a highly impressed Mike Tyson lauded Paul and warned Jack about fighting him.

Can Logan Paul strengthen his boxing run in the professional circuit?

‘The Maverick’ has only one fight recorded in his professional stint, and that came in against KSI in 2019.

Post that, he couldn’t get aligned with any opponent for his pro-return. But looking at his performance against Mayweather, it’s safe to admit that Paul will bring in even more slick skills for his professional return to the game.
