Soon-to-be father Logan Paul has opened up about the idea of having a girl child on the way as he walked down the red carpet at the launch party of the 60th anniversary of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit in NYC. After jumping above the ropes and pulling off acrobatic moves, he will swing his baby girl’s cradle and sing lullabies. But the American wrestler believes the latter might prove more difficult.

Logan, 29, appeared alongside his mom, Pam Stepnick, and girlfriend, Nina Agdal. The couple, who got engaged in July last year, announced their pregnancy this April in an Instagram post with the caption: “Another Paul coming this Fall”. The heartfelt post had images of them kissing, along with the ultrasound pictures of their baby. Two weeks ago, they staged an amusing wrestling theme-based gender reveal party with pink clothes and a special edition Prime bottle. While the Paul family was immersed in a joyous celebration, the WWE wrestler found himself wrestling with the idea of being a father.

When asked whether he wanted a girl or a boy child, Paul admitted that it took him 3 days to realize that having a girl child was “awesome.” He said, “It took three days. I’ll be honest with you. It took three days before I was like, ‘This is awesome.’ The idea of having a girl now is awesome. I’m in love with it. I can’t imagine anything else. But at first, it was a little daunting, you know?”

The Cleveland native, who grew up with a younger sibling in Jake Paul, knew how guys treated girls, which, according to him, was not fair treatment. But now he couldn’t think about anything but a girl child. He added, “My mind got like, ‘I’m a guy, I know how, like, guys treat girls. It’s not always fair. Life’s hard.’ And it took me a little bit to get over. But now, I can’t imagine having anything else than a baby girl, and I couldn’t be more excited.” However, Paul also shared what he believed would be the toughest part of parenting.

Logan Paul opens up about being a girl dad

The social media influencer admitted his concerns about being a girl’s dad, which would arise around 14–15 years from now. He continued, “It’s insane. I realized this. All of my concerns about being a girl dad are based around 14–15 years from now, right? When she becomes like a teenager, ‘I’m gonna do what I want dad’. Like that’s what like my anxiety comes from.”

But Paul also expressed his gratitude to be blessed to be a father, as he believed the couple would have the “best time” of their lives with their daughter. Lastly, he declared, “Now I’m excited.” Interestingly, in the same clip, the couple disclosed that they were already preparing for their daughter, and Agdal had already started shopping for clothes for her.
