“It’s Illegal”: Tyson Fury Throwing an Elbow to Francis Ngannou During Their Fight Draws the Ire From Fans

Last night’s clash at the Boulevard Hall of Riyadh matched every bit of the hype that it had garnered ever since its inception. In a highly polarizing matchup, heavyweight champion Tyson Fury took all his might against his debutante opponent, Francis Ngannou. However, Fury, who had assumed the position of the favorite for the fight, hardly met the predictions.

When the gong went off, the boxer got a scathing reality check with each of his powerful jabs going in vain. Almost completely unfazed was Ngannou, who even managed to drop Fury with a left hook in the third round. Fans Call Out World Champion Tyson Fury for his Illegal Jabs

With such an impressive portfolio, one would also assume that he knows the sport in and out, thereby holding an ample grip on how to navigate through the rules of it. But his fight against Ngannou questioned every bit of this assumption. Despite his victory, the boxing realm remains critical of Fury.

Fury gave way to such call-outs, given the way he fought last night. In one of the rounds, he even landed an elbow to his opponent’s face, which is a clear violation of boxing rules. Despite the illegality of the move, the fighter was not penalized for it, nudging fans to take their fury against him.

One fan inferred that if Fury was penalized for the violation, the results would have directly gone in favor of Ngannou.

Then came the ones who saw Ngannou’s brilliant performance that imbibed the spirit of resilience. The fighter remained unfazed through it all and even managed to throw some offense Tyson’s way.

Last night was totally Ngannou’s. In his maiden boxing match, the fighter made a mark, and his journey now remains the talk of the town.

Tyson Fury might regret the gamble he took when he decided to fight against Ngannou. Most expected a much more adept boxer like him to have a smooth victory. However, the reality threw everyone off guard. As for Ngannou? Well, he proved his worth and continues to do so.
