WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury had a long and upward journey before reaching the top of boxing. However, even after becoming the world champion back in 2015 by beating Wladimir Klitschko, Fury was not able to cope with the burden that came with being a champion. ‘The Gypsy King’ vacated his belts a year later before he was handed a ban for testing positive for drugs in his system.

Fury would then take two years off from the sport where he would turn obese and clinically depressed as stated by him in multiple interviews. Despite this, he was able to conquer his demons and return back in 2018 to make a run at the title once again. Moreover, he found success in his second run as he beat Deontay Wilder for the WBC championship which eventually gave fans one of the most iconic trilogies in heavyweight history. Thus, it was no surprise that the Hollywood actor shared a video of Fury preaching some words of wisdom.

‘Sly’ shared the video of Fury on his Instagram story. In the video Fury details the hardships he faced in life and how he was able to cope with them. Moreover, he claimed that to overcome these obstacles he first had to accept the reality around him and gave some words of wisdom to his fans.

I’ve had a lot of sh*t going on in my life. A lot of stuff happened to me that I didn’t think would happen to me, and I had to accept what went on before I could overcome the obstacle. Because there is a saying, for he who holds hot coal in his hand, with the intention of throwing it at somebody guess who gets burned? The man who is holding the hot coal, and that’s what it is you gotta let go,” he said.

Fury’s words certainly inspired Sylvester Stallone enough for him to share the video on his Story. However, the fans were also quick to join in as they reacted to the Gypsy King’s words of wisdom.
