In recent times, the sport has seen a new genre of boxing and that is the realm of Influencer boxing. Celebrities, from all walks of life, get in the ring and put on the show for the fans. Although one may have two thoughts about it, it would be hard to deny that there is a market for it and the fighters earn a great deal of mo0ney. Similarly, Tommy Fury, after facing two such celebrities, acknowledges his desire to compete against influencers again.
In the past, he has faced and defeated both Jake Paul and KSI. It is reported that the brother of the WBC Heavyweight Champion has taken home millions of dollars. Tommy Fury on what lies ahead for him
There are plenty of opponents for Fury that scream fireworks. However, at the end of the day, Fury is his own man and has the luxury of deciding what he says. In a recent turn of events, he unveiled his desire to face influencers in the next few bouts. He has also been vocal about fighting for world championships. And certainly, boxing influencers will not fetch him there. However, his desire to be a world champion continues to exist but is on standby as he deems influencer boxing to be more lucrative.

In an interview, he stated, “Let’s not beat around the bush, it’s a lot better financially than conventional boxing, so I’m going to make the most of the cross-over scene and when all that is said and done, I will challenge the top boys and see how I go.”
It is no secret that Fury has proven to be better than most influencer boxers. However, his fights against KSI and Paul were razor close. A rematch with either of them can be intriguing to watch. Moreover, let’s take a look at him lauding influencer boxing.

Fury is all praise for influencer boxing
Fury in the past has been critical of influencer boxing. However, it appears this genre has been accepted by him, to an extent atleast. In an interview, he commends what influencer boxers have been able to do but considers himself levels above. He stated, “Influencer boxing is good. It’s financially good, it draws the crowds in…But like I said before, I am the head of this table now. No one can deny that. I beat Jake Paul and I’ve beat KSI, all inside 12 months.”
