Anthony Joshua, the unified heavyweight world champion, is ready to meet Kubrat Pulev in a 12-round main event clash on December 12. Despite coming off a morale-boosting win against Andy Ruiz Jr. in 2019, ‘AJ’ is on a two-year knockout-draught. However, he is confident about claiming one in his next fight.

Prior to meeting ‘The Destroyer’, Anthony Joshua had registered all of his professional wins via knockout. His stellar uppercut and brutal jabs had been his prime weapons, and it seems that the Briton is sharpening them again.

The world champion claims to be in a learning mode and warns Pulev of being hit. As per Joshua, if he can connect the right punch, it will be a highlight reel.

To intensify the tale further, DAZN posted a video of Joshua’s training camp, where the champion spoke his mind.

Anthony Joshua is aware of his abilities

Although ‘AJ’ is rumored to fight against several other heavyweights, including WBC champion Tyson Fury, he is only worried about Pulev at present.

Joshua said, “I just focus on what’s in front of me. The only time anyone will know what it’s like to fight me is if they step in the ring with me. I am still an improvement fighter, I am getting stronger. I am getting smarter, I am just built for it. Kubrat Pulev is going to be the man in front of me.”

Meanwhile, he didn’t miss out on expressing confidence in his punching abilities.

Joshua continued, “If my punch lands in the right place, it will definitely be a highlight-reel knockout. Because I am number one, I am ready to fight anyone.”

Time will tell whether ‘AJ’ can implicate the same on fight night. Kubrat Pulev is a looming heavyweight contender who has earned the fight against Joshua on the back of some impressive performances.
