The fight between YouTube star Austin McBroom and AnEsonGib took place last year on Sept 10th. It was moved to September from July due to AnEsonGib having some medical problems. The bout delivered what it promised. YouTuber Austin McBroom had to be hospitalized after being knocked down five times by AnEsonGib during their exciting boxing bout in Los Angeles. The two social media rivals went head-to-head in the main event of McBroom’s Social Gloves 2 card.

The fight was stopped by referee Jack Reiss after a brutal right cross from AnEsonGib. McBroom’s defeat was so severe that he was taken straight to the hospital for a medical examination. This is where the story gets even more interesting as Happy Punch Promotions recently made a tweet revealing that Austin tested positive for COVID-19 while in the hospital, immediately after the fight.

Gib faced a loss against Jake Paul before this fight, so the fans did troll him when he announced the bout against McBroom. They also shared the video of his interview with them in which he revealed his thoughts and feelings when he found out he had Covid. His revelation has met a lot of backfire on social media. Fans were very dissatisfied and claimed that he was making excuses.
