David Benavidez will face Demetrius Andrade on 25 November at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Besides bragging rights, a shot at fighting Canelo Alvarez is on the line, as Benavidez is a mandatory challenger for ‘Cinamon.’ However, before the action in the ring could begin, Benavidez’s fiance recently stole the spotlight with a special announcement about the couple.
Recently, Benavidez got engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Karina Silva. Silva is a model and a social media influencer based out of Seattle, Washington. Besides that, Silva is also an entrepreneur who runs a boutique and an online shoe venture. The couple have a son together, but the news of their second child stole the show. While appearing in an interview with ES News, Silva described her engagement experience and dropped the happy news.

Karina Silva labels her engagement as a dream come true
During the interview, the reporter brought up their engagement and urged Silva to talk about it. In response, Silva begins by describing her awe at the ceremony. “Oh my god, it was amazing,” Silva told ES News. She then compared her engagement to a Mexican soap opera. “It’s like a Mexican soap opera,” said Silva.
But she wasn’t done talking about the engagement ceremony. She went on to describe the occasion in detail. “I walked in there…It was super romantic…There was like Mariachi playing,” Silva told ES News. She later concluded her description by claiming, “It was a dream come true.” Moreover, when probed further, Silva revealed that she and Benavidez are expecting their second child, a baby girl.

David Benavidez warns Demetrius Andrade
David ‘El Monstruo’ Benavidez, the undefeated two-time super middleweight champion, will defend his Interim WBC super middleweight title in his next fight. Benavidez is going toe-to-toe against another undefeated two-division world champion, Demetrius Andrade. The fight will headline on Showtime PPV. But before that could happen, Benavidez sent a stern warning to Andrade.
According to a report from Boxing Scene, Benavidez claimed he is excited about coming back to pay-per-view. He acknowledged that Andrade is a “slick fighter” but asserted, “I’m the bigger, stronger, and better boxer.” Benavidez proceeded to claim that he would showcase why he is called “El Monstruo at 168 pounds.”
