Logan Paul and Mike Majlak had the privilege of an exclusive interview with Donald Trump. The 45th President of the United States celebrates his 78th birthday today. From the Kendrick Lamar–Drake beef to artificial intelligence and the presence of extraterrestrial life, over the course of their nearly hour-long discussion, the trio went through a range of issues and topics on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast. But where the elder Paul goes, talk about his kid brother Jake Paul invariably follows. Posers on ‘The Problem Child’s boxing adventures more often than not make headway.
Paul and Majlak didn’t shy away from asking the former president about Jake Paul and the upcoming fight with Mike Tyson. As much as he revealed his views about the fight, Donald Trump unveiled a deep-rooted thought process related to combat sports. But in the end, like many others, he realized that time remains the greatest arbitrator.

‘This is gonna be great! Been looking forward to this all my life!……my whole life! Anyway, hi fellas, how you doing?” Thus began Donald Trump as he walked towards Logan Paul and Mike Majlak. He asked the pro wrestler about Jake Paul and how the relationship between the two brothers stood currently. The elder Paul replied that his younger brother was doing great, and they enjoy a much closer relationship than it used to be.

Mike Majlak then asked, “Him or Tyson, who you got?” He repeated the question when it appeared that the former president probably hadn’t understood it clearly. Trump asked when the fight was going to happen. Logan Paul shared that the fight has been rescheduled to November 15.
Donald Trump admitted that Mike Tyson had been fantastic in his prime. However, the fact remains that he is much older now. On the other hand, Logan Paul and his kid brother are much younger. They are still in a position to wage battles, one after another. “Look, Mike was fantastic, but you know Mike’s a little older now, yeah, and you guys can fight. Yeah, we’ll talk about that, but you guys can really fight, legitimately fight,” he said.
But then he clarified what used to occupy his mind for so long. He said, “At first, I said, you know, it’s so amazing because I always thought like a UFC guy or a top you know even contender would be able to win at 75 years old….but it doesn’t work that way; yeah, the clock is still the clock.”
Undoubtedly, it’s a view many share. If the fight finally makes it through in November, then ‘Iron’ Mike will be 58! Logan Paul shared that’s precisely how he felt when he squared up against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer and youngest heavyweight champion grabbed headlines early this month. The much-talked-about July 20 face-off with Mike Tyson unfortunately met with cancelation. The eight-round sanctioned bout has a new date, November 15. Following the medical emergency Mike Tyson faced, it was decided to postpone the already-criticized match. That way, the 57-year-old boxing great would get time to recuperate. Rumors that Jake Paul would instead take on MMA fighter and bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry on the original fight date emerged. But it remains largely unconfirmed.
Jake Paul vs Mike Perry is reportedly set for July 20th!
As I mentioned last week, Jake was in a difficult position with the $10M under card. He had to move fast, as those fighters wouldn’t be able to wait for a Mike Tyson bout in December.

But in a subsequent cryptic post, “The Problem Child’ stated that the fight with Mike Tyson continues and that he will secure a victory. “I AM FIGHTING MIKE TYSON ON NETFLIX AND I WILL GET THE W,” he said. Right from the time the fight announcement came, shouts from several corners emerged. This is a fight that should never happen, they all echoed. After Tyson’s recent health scare, former UFC champion Michael Bisping even called the whole fight thing ‘an absolute embarrassment, a sham’.
