Errol Spence Jr. is interested in fighting four-division champion, Canelo Alvarez. The Mexican fighter had called out the unified welterweight champion for a scrap inside the boxing ring.
However, he believed that weight could be an issue should they decide to fight each other. Now, Spence Jr. has stated that he is very much interested, and fighting at 160 is a likely possibility.
In a conversation with Fight Hub TV, Errol Spence Jr. said, “It’s something that can happen at 160. Fly 160, Cowboys stadium with fans. That’s a great fight, it’s gonna happen. I got to get past Danny Garcia first. That’s the guy I am focused on, but as for Canelo fight, it can happen at 160.”

Canelo Alvarez will make his hugely anticipated return to the boxing ring in a unification title bout for the WBA super-middleweight championship. He will take on undefeated German boxer Callum Smith in his first bout after partying ways with Golden Boy Promotions. Meanwhile, Errol Spence Jr. will take on Danny Garcia in his first title defense.

Can Errol Spence Jr. beat Canelo Alvarez?
The four-division champion, Canelo Alvarez, will go down as arguably the greatest boxer of all time. He is coming off a historic win over Sergey Kovalev in his debut at the light-heavyweight division and reigns as the WBO light-heavyweight champion.
Over the years, Alvarez has only gone up in weight classes. Needless to say, this would be a huge factor going into the fight against Errol Spence Jr.
