Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero is known for speaking his mind and never hesitating to express himself. With each battle, the 26-year-old has climbed the ladder by knocking out his opponents. Due to his forthcoming major fight, the boxer has recently been in the spotlight.

In an interview with The Schmo, the pugilist from Las Vegas spilled some beans about his thoughts on the fighter he wants to fight. He was asked, “So you know you’ll knock him (Tank Davis) out, you’re gonna have to fight him again and prove it twice because of that rematch clause.”

“Nah, it ain’t about rematch clause.” Said Romero. “I’ll do it again because he’s the one, he’s the other popular fighter. The only other popular fighter that’s going to fu**ing get me what I want to make me into a bigger star, is me versus Ryan. But I think that premature, me and Ryan will fight at welterweight.”

Reporter: You and Ryan Garcia at welterweight?

Romero: Yeah, down on the line you’ll see. It can be one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing.

The WBA interim lightweight champion made a rather interesting statement about his future fight with the rising boxing star, Ryan Garcia.

In an interview with FightHype.com, Ryan Garcia was asked about Romero and his upcoming fight with Gervonta Davis. The 23-year-old stated, “I think that he’s severely underestimated. Because the thing about Rolly is, he may look funky, but he knows his funky moves really good…”

Garcia further added that he thinks that Romero has a chance of knocking out Tank Davis.

Garcia further added, “He could knock out Tank if Tank’s not careful.”

The fans can’t wait for the highly anticipated showdown between the two pugilists to take place. A fight between the two boxers was scheduled for December, but it was canceled due to some issues.
