Recently, UFC legend Chael Sonnen opened up about his true opinions on Jake Paul’s claims about his altercation with Mayweather Jr being staged.

Chael Sonnen believes it ‘isn’t worth it’

Sonnen took to his YouTube channel and posted a video discussing the altercation between Paul and Mayweather Jr and he explained the implications of Jake Paul claiming the altercation to be staged and was done for clout. Sonnen explained the circumstances from the perspective of the former champion.

The former UFC star said, “The Leverage you have in the future. It isn’t worth it. It’s unique, it’s difficult.” Furthermore, UFC legend pointed out the difficult circumstance Floyd Mayweather is in after Paul’s claims. He added, “It puts Floyd in a widely difficult spot. Floyd is in a difficult position. Floyd’s gonna come out and say it was. He begged me told me his career was not where he wanted it to be. “

Sonnen further added how Mayweather Jr will have to make a statement in a difficult situation. He said, ” This is what Floyd does, He backs him. He says this whole thing was planned and he backed me.”

Sonnen believes that Mayweather Jr will make a statement that portray Paul as the needy one. And, will make Paul look like he is the one who approached him.
