Many eyes were rolled when John Gotti III charged toward Floyd Mayweather Jr after the referee called the fight off. The exhibition between the two did not end as the fans expected. And, what was supposed to be an entertaining showdown for the fans turned out to become bad blood. This mishappening at the fight also led to the involvement of Gotti III’s family. After the brawl, Gotti III was suspended for six months. However, amid all the chaos, it seems like a prominent journalist has his own claims.

Famous television personality Skip Bayles revealed his thoughts on the exhibition fight between ‘Pretty Boy’ and Gotti III. He is not pleased with the fight and with what prevailed during the fight. However, Bayles has made serious accusations about the brawl post the match. He has taken a dig at the former five-division world champion for participating in the fight with the grandson of the former New York Crime Boss.

Skip Bayles believes the Floyd Mayweather fight was “staged”

As the drama unfolded between Floyd Mayweather Jr and John Gotti III, the host of Fox Sports took to Twitter. He accused the fight of being “scripted” and “staged.” It should be noted that he was referring to everything that followed after the fight was stopped. The two ceased fighting as Gotti III was disqualified for holding.

“ Floyd’s being paid a whole lot of money to put on a show. You can’t really put on a show against John Gotti III,” said Bayles while on Fox Sports 1’s undisputed. He did not hesitate to make strong remarks about Mayweather Jr. He claimed that ‘Money’ had no business fighting Gotti III. 

Bayles said,[Gotti] didn’t belong in the ring with Floyd Mayweather Jr. But, Floyd didn’t belong in the ring with him, either. At some point, isn’t it beneath Floyd’s dignity, even for $10 million, to do this?It seems like the 71-year-old is not a fan of these exhibition fights.

The fiasco that broke out has raised a lot of questions, and it did not end that night. Gotti has claimed that the 46-year-old is now an “enemy for life” to him.
