One user confidently declared Mike as the winner without a question. “Tyson, no doubt,” the user wrote.

Another user suggested that Muhammad Ali doesn’t even stand a chance. “Ali isn’t even close,” commented the user.

Even the next user was sure about Mike emerging victorious. The user wrote, “Tyson, of course. He only praises Ali out of respect. But Ali himself knows who the King of the Ring is.”

Someone else claimed Tyson would win, no questions asked, highlighting the superiority of Mike’s technique. “Prime Tyson all day. His technique is followed till date, but not Ali’s. But Ali is definitely one of the greatest,” the user wrote.

The next user went into detail, explaining why Mike would win. The user wrote, “Frazier almost killed Ali using just his left hand. Prime Tyson was just a different beast, faster than Ali, stronger, and a better boxer.”

Mike Tyson possibly paid homage to Muhammad through a Halloween Costume

There’s no doubt the question of Mike vs. Ali would rage on for decades to come. However, that doesn’t diminish the fact that Tyson looked up to the legendary Muhammad Ali. Mike’s love for Ali was on full display in the Halloween costume Mike showcased on social media. This past Halloween, Mike Tyson dressed as a Bee and posted the picture alongside a caption that was eerily similar to a quote from Ali.

Tyson wrote, “Happy Halloween. Bee the force that cannot bee stopped.” Besides the quote, Tyson’s bee costume could have been an homage to the late champion. Ali’s memorable quote was, “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee.” While the connection between these two quotes and the costume could be incidental, most fans still speculated it’s about Ali.
