In a recent YouTube video, the popular rapper duo from last year, the Island Boys, clarified the nasty situation that happened with them on YouTuber Logan Paul’s podcast on December 2021. They appeared as guests on  ‘Impaulsive’ last year but soon left after one of the podcast members asked them a financial question. As the podcast video became viral, people became more curious about the incident. As shown in today’s video, one of them explained why he decided to leave. For him, it was nothing. Although the island boys are still making videos and songs on YouTube, they remain popular for their videos. But what happened on the podcast with Logan Paul and why did they leave the podcast?

Logan Paul’s podcast: what happened with the Island boys?

Alex and Franky Venegas, the identical twins popularly known as island boys, are often seen with outlandish hairstyles, and tattoos covering their entire bodies. They are rappers from Florida and became viral with their debut song ‘I’m an Island Boy’. Soon after, Logan Paul called them on his podcast on 15th December 2021. At first, everything seemed in order, but soon a question irked the Island Boys. And the question was from one of the members of ‘Impaulsive’, George Janko.

George Janko said, “I think, if God forbid, it doesn’t go in your guys’direction – for real, I think you guys take all of your jewelry assets and invest it in something so you guys will never be broke again.” After that one of them put down the headphones and left the podcast. It also made Logan angry.

What did they say in response?

In a recent video, they revealed why they left the show. They were asked about the incident on YouTube, “We are talking about the ZImpaulsive podcast where you walked off. So I wanted to ask you the question like do you regret walking off that podcast?”

In response, ‘The Island Boy’ said, “No I Wouldn’t regret it. I went, probably five times more viral than in that podcast.” He also added, “That probably would have what it had like a regular sit down and talk. That threw me off, I was like,”. He expressed with a smile.
