In addition to being a fantastic fighter, the WBA super lightweight champion is also a master at intimidating his opponents before they enter the ring. During his June 2021 fight against Franciso Vargas, Cruz made a stunning entrance at the Toyota Center in Houston, living up to his moniker Pitbull. The Mexican came out wearing a black dog mask quickly garnering the attention of the arena. It must have had some effect on Vargas’ confidence as Cruz ended up winning the bout. In addition, Cruz recently shared a post on Instagram where he posted pictures of some of his finest ring walk attires.

Furthermore, ‘Pitbull’ became an overnight sensation after his December 2021 fight against Gervonta Davis. Being an underdog, Cruz proved to everyone that he may be the only fighter who has truly pushed Davis to the limits, giving him a run for his money. His walkout song and attire were equally remarkable as his performance inside the ring. The Mexico City native came out to the tune of the Mexican national anthem. Moreover, he wore a black Mexican hat called Sombrero showcasing his Mexican roots.

Speaking of his debut performance this year against Rolly Romero, he followed his usual tradition of wearing a Sombrero. Spanish singer and musician Leiva’s song ‘La Morbid del Gran Pitbull Cruz’, which is dedicated to the fighter, played, as Cruz stepped out for his ring walk. In addition, Leiva performed the song live while escorting Cruz to the ring.

When Isaac Cruz brought a Mexican band for his ring walk

In 2022, Cruz knocked out Yuriorkis Gamboa in the fifth round at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington. For his walkout music, he chose a traditional Mexican band to go alongside him on his ring walk. He looked like a boogeyman ready to make the kill with his menacing gait and music. He wore a red Sombrero and a black robe making the crowd go crazy for his entrance.

The orthodox boxer always shows up fully dressed up in Mexican garb. For his July 2023 fight against Giovanni Cabrera, he came in all-white attire, sporting a white Sombrero, as his teammates were walking behind him carrying the Mexican flag. Cruz got a music band again as he made an exquisite entrance to the sounds of trumpets and violins.

His fans in Mexico and the Spanish-speaking nations can’t wait to see what song, band, or musician he chooses for his next ring walk on the Riyadh Season card. His Excellency Turki Alalshikh, the chairman of the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia, goes above and beyond to ensure that the boxing events he organizes are a complete fanfare. So there is hope that Pitbull will have an even more spectacular ring walk than he has ever done before. What are your best guesses? Mention your song predictions in the comments section below.
