Co-presenter Simon Jordan on talkBOXING recently disclosed rumors regarding a potential “mega three-fight Saudi deal“. Addressing a “lingering observation” Jordan looked forward to explaining the recent cancellation of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua’s desire to fight again in December 2023. In addition, he mentioned Andy Ruiz Jr. and Daniel Dubois joining in.

Recently, the promoter and CEO of Top Rank Boxing Bob Arum disclosed Usyk being offered $60 Million to fight Fury in Saudi Arabia in December 2023. In the same vein, Jordan, reinforcing the belief initially permeated by Arum’s assertion, spoke about Usyk potentially fighting Fury in Saudi Arabia, in December 2023. In addition, he mentioned a potential bout between Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder in boxing.

Speaking of “what is likely to be happening” in contemporary heavyweight boxing, Jordan suggested Fury, Usyk, Joshua, and Wilder fighting in the Middle East in December 2023. According to Jordan’s theory, the winners of the fights shall collide once again in an “ultimate showdown” in the ring. As per Jordan’s theory, this is why Joshua declared he will return to the ring in December 2023. While Usyk will have to win against his mandatory challenger in Daniel Dubois, Jordan strongly believes Fury will return in 2023 to avoid a 12-month absence from boxing.

Three fights being made which is Fury vs Usyk, Wilder vs Joshua, and the two winners of those fights meeting again in the Middle East for the ultimate showdown. That would align with the dynamic of the reasons why Anthony Joshua isn’t fighting until December,” stated Jordan on talkBOXING. “He [Fury] will [fight in the summer]. What I’m led to believe is he will get out against Andy Ruiz,” added Jordan saying.

While Usyk has a mandatory challenger to face, Tyson Fury did not mention the boxer he would face next in the ring. Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua spoke about his willingness to test himself against Wilder in the ring. There is certainly an amount of weight attached to Jordan’s theory.
