Despite the defeats of both combatants in the ring, they remain big names and top fighters. The bout would be unarguably one of the biggest fights this year. In such a spectacle of a fight, the negotiations keep lingering. There has been no official offer made by either side despite their interest to compete against one another.

Reflecting on the same, Wilder’s manager and CEO of Skill Challenge Entertainment in an interview with Boxing King Media stated, “There has not been any offer made. Is there interest in the fight? Yes but have they have an official offer yet? The answer is no. He adds, “If there is, it will come from Skill Challenge directly.

From his comments it can be safely inferred that the fight is far from being official. However, he also mentioned that there is keenness shown from Joshua’s side which makes this fight a real possibility at the same time.

Deontay Wilder makes a bold prediction

Wilder is a knockout artist through and through. Out of his 43 victories, he has won via stoppages 42 times and have a knockout percentage of over 91%. He predicts he will knockout Joshua when he squares off with him and give the Saudi fans a show. Speaking to ESNews, he states, “Let’s make it happen. If that’s what’s going on. Let’s make it happen.” He adds, “I’mma give Saudi their first knockout victim. You know what I mean. I can deliver that for you. You know they haven’t had that much excitement for a knockout.”
