Jake Paul had a chaotic dating life. That was until he met Jutta Leerdam. After having a series of failed relationships with multiple women, it appears that he might have found the one. The romance with Jutta, which began with some innocent flirting on Instagram, became public in April 2023, with Jake Paul sharing a series of pictures of them holding hands, and captioning it, “I’m Dutch now.” Since then, the couple has been going strong and has stuck with each other through thick and thin. Reportedly, the Dutch beauty helped Paul cope with his first loss against Tommy Fury, the lowest point in his young boxing career.
Nonetheless, all is well, and the happy couple routinely posts pictures of each other. But do you know, just like Jake Paul, Leerdam is also an elite athlete in her own right? Jutta is an elite speed skater, who has won several accolades for her country, The Netherlands. The Dutch beauty is a six-time world champion in speed skating. But has she won the most prestigious gold medal for her country in the Olympics? Well, she came very close at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, where she won the silver medal.

Since turning professional in 2018, Leerdam has won the 1000m world title twice in 2020 and 2023 respectively, and the World Sprint Championships in 2022. The rest of the three world championship titles came when she was a junior. She won her first major title at the 2017 World Junior Championships in Finland and then went on to bag two more at the ISU Junior World Cup for the 1000m and 1500m events.
Furthermore, the reigning sprint European champion holds the record for having performed 1000m speed skating in the fastest time, clocking in at 1 minute 13.15 seconds, on October 31, 2021.
Fascinated by the “individual aspect of skating”, she first stepped on the ice at the age of eleven. Previously, she used to play Ice Hockey, but figured out quite quickly that she wasn’t much of a team player when Ice Hockey was concerned. Nonetheless, the Dutch Olympian has reaped enormous dividends from the sport of Ice Skating.

Jutta Leerdam concerned about Jake Paul’s safety?
The former Disney star will be stepping into the ring against the BKFC champion Mike Perry this Saturday. Perry was brought in as a replacement for Mike Tyson after the high-profile bout was rescheduled to November due to Tyson’s recent medical scare. Nonetheless, the thought of the Ohio native stepping into the ring against a knockout artist like Mike Tyson instilled fear in Jutta’s mind.
While in an appearance on BS w/ Jake Paul, Leerdam’s fear was quite evident. “What if he knocks you out? Like is that your last fight? I would definitely cry but also because I just feel bad and I just hope you’re okay. Jake has been doing this for like only a few years so if someone like started a few years ago with speed skating they couldn’t even participate in the world championships, like that’s not even possible. So what Jake is doing is already crazy.”
