None of his socials include references to women that may be in his life. We might not know whether he’s dating anyone or in a relationship. But there’s something that we do know. We have collected certain information on where he comes from and the roots he proudly represents.
Agit Kabayel’s Background and Family
The 25-0 boxer was born and raised in one of Europe’s largest urban areas, called Leverkusen, Germany. And his parents hail from Pazarcık, a town in the Turkish province of Kahramanmaraş, Germany. According to reports, the region was predominantly inhabited by Kurds and had a population of just 90 by 2023. Thus Kabayel’s family roots are traced back to the Kurdish region, and he proudly represents his Kurdish heritage. Although no other family records have been traced so far, we know Agit Kabayel has a cousin named Hüseyin Kökseçen, a.k.a KC Rebell. He’s a German rapper by profession. But like all other youngsters, Agit Kabayel also moved out of his town, relocating to Bochum, also in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

With this move, he would not only expand his horizons but also fulfill his long-held dream. “I can’t wait to showcase my skills in the U.S. and on ESPN. Since then, the 32-year-old has been securing major bouts. It was only in December 2023 that Agit Kabayel earned the North American Boxing Federation Heavyweight belt against Arslanbek Makhmudov in Riyadh. And you know what? Less than six months later, he received yet another impressive win over Frank Sanchez. As a result, this victory earned him not just one, but 2 titles—the WBC Continental Americas Heavyweight title and the WBO NABO Heavyweight belt. And if those titles are not enough, he’s also recently ranked No. 5 in the heavyweight division by The Ring magazine.
The showdown with the ‘Big Bang’ is in a few hours and everyone will be watching. If he manages to win against Zhilei Zhang, this could be the fight that propels him to the next level of international fame and success with a potential shot at Oleksandr Usyk next.
