Floyd Mayweather retired from boxing back in 2017. However, the ‘TBE’ boxer is very much associated with the sport. Every now and then, the undefeated boxer competes in exhibition bouts. Not to mention, the boxer has a fond passion for coaching boxers of today. After training Keyshawn Davis, Mayweather was seen lacing  Shakur ‘Sugar’ Stevenson‘s gloves inside the boxing ring. Stevenson is the unified Featherweight world champion. The Featherweight boxer made his debut in the Lightweight division back in April. It would be safe to say that Stevenson is here to waste no time. Intriguingly, the Lightweight champion, Devin Haney was also open to this intriguing clash.

However, it appears that a potential bout between the two is in jeopardy. It was reported that there were major disagreements with the purse splits of the combatants. In any case, Mayweather is keeping Stevenson ready for any challenge and ‘Sugar’ is keen on learning from one of the greatest boxers of recent times.

Stevenson posted a small clip on his Twitter account in which Mayweather was lacing his gloves and having a conversation with the 26-year-old. He captioned the video as “Can’t stop working,” and while some fans were awestruck to see them together, others were more eager to see Stevenson get back to action.
