Jake Paul is finally tasting the mat. He is put to his place after a barrage of punches did a number on him, and his shortcomings are put out in the open. But there is a twist. While it’s happening on a screen, it’s not a real ring. It’s what fans are doing in a video game.
Undisputed, a recently released boxing game, has swept the fans with its realistic features and an experience that brings the thrill and job of fighting in a boxing ring to the fans. While you can have many options to choose from, the recent addition of ‘Problem Child’ has raised some eyebrows.
What’s more? Some fans are posting clips of playing with the YouTuber, and when one such snippet of Roy Jones Jr. knocking out Paul, 27, tagged the latter, he didn’t hesitate to respond.

The Cleveland native has also previously expressed his delight with the game, and the developers got many things right with his gaming character. He had declared, “I’ve been breaking barriers and making history in real life. So, it’s only fitting that I bring the same energy to Undisputed… The Steel City team nailed every detail. From my moves to my swag, and I can’t wait for players to test their skills.”
Paul, at 11-1, turned to his Instagram handle and shared the clip of Roy Jones Jr. knocking him out. In the Instagram story, he wrote, “Finally yall can see me get knocked out 😂😂😂😂.” The comment reflected his boxing career, where he has yet to be knocked out, despite losing a fight to Tommy Fury.
Interestingly, Paul has an overall rating of 84, which puzzled many, as he is rated above many professional boxers and former world champions. As you could expect, this caused an uproar in the boxing community. And a former champ even openly blasted the game developers.

Well, the Welsh fighter is not alone. You can spot the likes of Joe Joyce, Caleb Plant, and Conor Benn in the bracket that falls below him. This could be the developer’s way of acknowledging the work he had done in influencer boxing and altering the boxing landscape. It could also be that it could help push the sales. The YouTuber-turned-prizefighter’s last fight against Mike Tyson might also have boosted his case. However, it is not going down well with the fans and pros.
