Mike Tyson stuns his fans in the Shark Week segment
Tyson along with the entire crew of Discovery plunged deep into Bahama’s waters. Not to forget, Bahama is one of the deepest parts of the Atlantic ocean, and diving into it without proper precautions can be fatal.
However, Discovery’s team pulled the job off professionally. As reported, they used a strategical move called Tonic immobility to ensure the shark’s and the crew’s safety.
The crew reportedly stimulated the sensory pores of the sharks’ snout, which brought a temporary state of inactivity within them. Discovery executed the move to protect the crew, including Tyson from horrific injuries.
However, it is still a deadly task to perform. That said, Tyson did it like a professional and successfully squared off with the sharks, as promised.
After spending some time underwater, Tyson took his leave as the undisputed champ of the sea. With Tyson kicking off the inaugural segment, Shark Week is set to return every night on Discovery.
Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr.
After squaring off with the Sharks, Tyson has got a legitimate challenge in Roy Jones Jr. next. The veterans are going to break their respective retirements and face each other in an eight-round exhibition in California.
However, the matchup was hit with a series of unexpected changes. After being cemented for September 12, Tyson vs Roy Jones Jr. has been postponed.
November 28 is being touted as the new date. However, the exact reason behind the delay still remains clouded in mystery. That said, boxing fans are already hyped about the matchup.
Tyson will return to the ring after 15 long years, following his defeat to Kevin McBride in 2005. Roy Jones Jr. on the other hand will return to the ring after a brief 2-year-long hiatus, after having retired from professional boxing in 2018.
The fight will undoubtedly be an intense affair owing to the fighters packing lethal punches. If landed clean, there’s no denying that the other would hit the canvas.
