Jake Paul‘s list of troubles grows as he struggles to keep the upcoming Mike Tyson fight afloat. Ever since ‘Iron Mike’ plunged the boxing world into concern with his health emergency, fans and promoters are growing wary of his chances of stepping inside the boxing ring. It seems the chances of the highly anticipated fight materializing hinge on how the media reacts now.

The former heavyweight champion had an ulcer flare-up, which caused a medical emergency on his flight. What’s more, Tyson’s deteriorating health and the need for recovery pushed the fight date. But there has been no new date. The clouds of uncertainty loom large. And now Chael Sonnen has spelled out the trouble for ‘Problem Child’ as he disclosed that the media possessed the videos and pictures of the 57-year-old boxer being taken out of the plane, which might outrage fans and eventually shelve the fight. But the media was supposed only to pull out those visuals if the PR team lied about Tyson’s health, which would allow them to carve out a story.

The former UFC star declared on his YouTube channel, “The media is in possession of everything they need to destroy this. But they won’t do it. The media will not pull that out unless you lie… The media has it. They’re not going to do anything, though they’re going to tee you up and ask you the question.”

“But if you lie, they’re ready, and that is the story. And that is why there is a story. There is video footage video of Mike Tyson being taken off the airplane and put into a wheelchair. You’ve never seen it. But I’ve warned you from day one. It’s there, and I also told you there were still photos,” Sonnen added about the matchup.

The visuals of Tyson clad in white clothes and sitting in a wheelchair made the rounds on the internet after the news of his medical emergency broke out. However, Paul, 27, had denied those as a thing of the past, dating them at least a couple of years ago.

With revelations of the clip showing Tyson being taken away in a wheelchair existing somewhere, Chael Sonnen believes that Jake Paul’s promotion along with Netflix is trying hard to ensure that the clip doesn’t make it out. Because if it does, it could even jeopardize the prospect of their future fight. Meanwhile, there are growing speculations about Tyson pulling out from the event altogether, and another world champion stepping in to replace him.

Amir Khan ready to jump in the ring against Jake Paul if Mike Tyson withdraws

Amir Khan is willing to add more mass to his frame and book a date with Paul. The influencer-turned-boxer has now beefed up to close to 230 pounds as he looks to fight in the heavyweight class. On the other hand, the British boxer, who fought at middleweight last, needs to add more than 40 pounds to even make the weight.

Khan told Offshore Poker Sites, “If the weights are right, I don’t mind giving away 20 pounds… he’s [Jake Paul] put on a lot of mass. So it depends on him, whether he’s willing to lose that weight, and we find some middle ground somewhere.”

Without any official announcement, the fight now hangs in limbo. Will the media cause a massive outrage about Tyson’s age and health? We’ll find out soon.
