George Kambosos Jr. is clearly pushing his limits to prepare for a lightweight title showdown against Teofimo Lopez on June 19. The unbeaten Australian boxer, who appears stoked with his full camp, has added some extra moves into his everyday workout regime.

Coming into the fight, ‘Ferocious’ is honing his body to prepare for every adversary and his recent training appears gruesome to several fans. In a chat with ‘Behind The Gloves’, Kambosos Jr. addressed his workout routine and thrilled the entire fitness community.

He said, “I have been doing like, maybe seven thousand [situps] now. I am sc**wed from the great Manny Pacquiao who does just as much. So, I have built that threshold of just putting my body through hell and I want to hit him [Teofimo Lopez] nice and clean on the body.”

Well, a week ago, Kambosos Jr. was reportedly doing 5,000 situps. Hence, this upgrade seems natural as he gears up for the big bout. Akin to George Kambosos Jr., Teofimo Lopez, also unbeaten, is arguably the biggest lightweight superstar from the active roster. Considering this, a win over ‘Take Over’, would uplift ‘Ferocious’ to new heights.
