Gervonta Davis has been out of the boxing ring ever since his dominant victory against Ryan Garcia earlier this year. Despite his relatively young age, Davis has become a force to be reckoned with in the boxing world. However, even though he has been outside the ring all this time, his time out of it has been full of landmark events.

Davis has managed to surprise his fans as he often does. Only a while ago, the boxer had also bought a block in his old neighborhood with the express purpose of turning it into affordable housing for the impoverished. Recently, the boxing champion also transitioned to Islam. The video from the ceremony has since then gone viral, with fans sharing their prayer for Davis as well as congratulating him. One such fan is a YouTuber and influencer-boxer, Sulieman ‘Slim’ Albaher, who shared his appreciation for the champ.

Gervonta Davis’ recent switch to Islam has piqued curiosity among fans. Davis was born into a Christian family, with both his parents, Garrin Davis and Kenya Brown, following the same faith. However, in a surprising turn of events, Gervonta recently embraced Islam. Transitioning smoothly from his Christian roots, Davis made this significant change just a short while ago.

Since then support has been outpouring for him. Among them, Slim Albaher, who is also a Muslim, congratulated ‘Tank Davis’. He thanked him for his recent kind gesture, prayed for Davis, and welcomed him into the community. While sharing a picture with Gervonta Davis, in the caption, he wrote, “Tank Davis bought his whole block and became Muslim in the Same week may Allah protect you @Gervontaa.” Notably, it was just recently that Davis was trying to visit his family for Christmas but was denied his request. Here’s what happened.
