Mike Tyson, the youngest Heavyweight champion, leaves no stone unturned to keep his name paramount in boxing. Recently, Tyson invited Prince Jackson, the son of the legendary pop star Michael Jackson, to his podcast. Prince Jackson was born on February 13, 1997, in Los Angeles. He is Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe’s first child. When Michael Jackson died in 2009, Prince was 12. His grandmother, Katherine Jackson, then became his legal guardian.

Furthermore in 2013, Prince started working as a guest correspondent for Entertainment Tonight. He also recently participated in a production meeting for an upcoming Michael Jackson biopic. However, when he appeared on Iron Mike’s podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, we saw a chirpy and candid realm to his personality. Additionally, he took an avid part in discussing his father’s legacy. Speaking of which, a particular discussion about public clamor caught the audience’s attention. This was when ‘Kid Dynamite’ resonated with Michael Jackson’s stardom.

In the podcast, DJ Whoo Kid candidly asked Mike about his feelings for public clamor. He asked ‘The Baddest Man on the Planet’ if he’d become used to it. Furthermore, he tried exploring Tyson’s feelings every time he entered the ring. Especially when “part of going through that crowd, millions looking at it.” To this, Mike had a prompt answer. He threw light on the fact that he “prepared for it.” Furthermore, he reflected his love for public cheering by saying, “I love that stuff.” Then, he turned towards Prince Jackson and said that the same way Michael Jackson loved it.

Next, Prince weighed in on his father’s legacy. Jackson said, “Yeah, the rush of being in front of all those people is a form of an addiction too man.” That’s exactly when Mike reflected on the depth of this addiction. He was quick to highlight the “God status” of ‘The King of Pop.’  Tyson elucidated his opinion saying, “…especially when you want to reach God’s status and it becomes more than an addiction.” 

Furthermore, Prince resonated with Mike’s insights on his father’s legacy. Therefore, he agreed and added to the narrative by saying that it is more like a “mission.” Indeed, stardom plays a crucial role in the making of any public figure.
