Like the hissing of a reptile, with each strike he breathed. Flexible like an elastic, in southpaw, maintaining a wide stance, Raymond Ford moved in and out. An offensive fighter, he got to work right from the beginning. Technically well-aware, he stayed outside the pocket and, when needed, acted only according to Medina’s movement and will to biff.
For Ford, the motto was simple: ‘hit but avoid getting hit.’ From start to finish, till the sound of the bell, he remained active on his feet, his arms ready to pierce and punch.

Following Raymond Ford’s outstanding performance against Richard Medina Jr. on June 25 inside Tech Port Arena, San Antonio, Texas, fans reacted profoundly to a viral clip from the fight.
Raymond Ford showed basketball handles in the middle of the fight
From Chris Paul to James Harden to Kyrie Irving, who is your favorite handler in the NBA right now? While Irving, Paul, and Harden dribble and handle on the basketball court, Rayford Ford this Saturday showed his “balling” skills in a boxing ring.
Ray Ford was ballin in the ring 😅🏀 #FordMedina

Although Ford’s act calls for unnecessary showmanship, he sort of reminds us of the second fight between Sugar Ray Leonard and Roberto Duran. Leonard juggled his shoulders and swung his arm like a merry-go-round and this made Duran quit. Well, Ford took it to another level against Medina inside Tech Port.
I am not sold on Ford. He shows skill and some speed. But I don't see enough separation. Maybe he'll prove me wrong over time.

Someone felt Ford in that fight had both speed and skill. However, lacked separation and hopefully will prove his spectator wrong over time.
Damn, could imagine Jake Paul doing something like that to Nate Robinson

On the other end, someone imagined Jake Paul doing something similar to NBA all-star Nate Robinson in their ‘callout’ fight.
Being cocky isn't cute just fight smh
— YLSNE (@YLSNE5) June 26, 2022
A fan wrote Ford was being cocky. They did not appreciate the idea of ballin’ in the middle of a boxing match.
But when Loma does it he gets praised.. pic.twitter.com/smSIg9i15n

Contrary to YLSNE, someone said this above.
Do that shit against an elite fighter and he will wake up on a basketball court.
— Chief Don Reed (@Chief_DReed) June 26, 2022
Like many others, this fan also did not like the showmanship Ford was asking for, and so they said this.
