Mike Tyson’s life has been no less than a movie. But the world has been waiting for a real movie based on the former heavyweight champion’s life. It should be noted that there have been other movies about Tyson’s life, but the world is waiting for a movie from the former champion himself. It is worth mentioning that there is a series called Mike on the streaming platform Hulu, which is based on Tyson’s life. But, it should be noted that the 56-year-old revealed that he was never asked for permission to make the series. And the world eagerly awaits for the former champ to announce his movie.

Amid Jamie Foxx’s health scare, he was rumored to play the role of Mike Tyson in the movie. The 56-year-old revealed another reason why there had not been his biopic yet. And the reason is something no fan might expect from the former champion.

In the latest episode of Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, the 56-year-old was joined by American rapper Tony Yayo. And the two discussed the movie based on Mike Tyson’s life. And Tyson revealed why he is “scared” of making a movie based on his life.

Yayo said, “We’re tired of other Mike Tyson movies. We’re waiting for him to give us the okay for the real Mike Tyson movie.” To this, the 56-year-old responded by revealing the reason he is scared of making a movie about his life. Tyson replied, “I’m too scared to do that, man.”

Tyson further added, “Because I can never keep it real because it’s just really creepy stuff, and people can always come back on you.”  This is not a reason many fans were expecting that caused the movie’s delay. But the fans do understand the 56-year-old’s concern when it comes to the movie. Meanwhile, the rapper showed his support and responded, “I don’t care if it’s trippy. We want you to come with your movie, bro.”

Yayo roped in the rumors of Jamie Foxx’s role in the movie, amid his current medical condition. To this, Tyson responded and said, “I heard he got twisted some kind of way.” Yayo further asked Tyson whether the Oscar winner was supposed to play Tyson in the movie.

Responding to this, the 56-year-old clarified some of the rumors, saying, “No, he was one of the actors that we considered because he was very familiar with me but there were other guys that were in contention.” It is still unclear when the world will finally be able to watch a biopic of Tyson’s life. But, it is safe to say that it seems like it will be worth the wait.
