While speaking to ‘The Truth’, ‘Rougarou’ asked for Prograis vs. Haney next in boxing. In addition, the 34-year-old boldly claimed that he would “whoop your [Haney’s] a**“. Ahead of Prograis vs. Zorrilla, Eddie Hearn stated he wanted to see Prograis take on Haney. In addition, when asked if Prograis could beat Haney, Hearn replied in the affirmative.

Ahead of the Danielito Zorrilla fight, promoter Eddie Hearn claimed the best 140-pounder in his eyes, Regis Prograis would beat Devin Haney in the ring. Likewise, he declared he was interested in seeing Prograis vs. Haney next. “We’re going to make him [Devin Haney] an offer for the Regis,” Hearn stated. After the victory against Zorrilla, as Haney FaceTimed Prograis, the latter reiterated the words of his promoter Eddie Hearn. “What’s up? Me and you next. Me and you next, Devin,” said Prograis.
Prograis, who is now 29-1-0, even declared that he would “whoop” Devin’s “a**”. “I’mma f*** you up. Gonna tell you in front of your dad. I’m gonna whoop your a**. I’m gonna bust your a**,” stated Prograis. “Hopefully, we see each other next though,” he concluded saying. According to Eddie Hearn, while Haney is an “outstanding fighter“, Prograis is a “tremendous fighter” in the sport. Undoubtedly, Haney vs. Prograis would be a fight worth tuning in. However, the British promoter is seemingly not happy with Prograis’ last fight.

Eddie Hearn felt Prograis vs. Zorrilla was average
After Prograis beat Zorrilla, Hearn stated he was disappointed in Zorrilla’s performance. Despite being a “big puncher“, Zorrilla, in Hearn’s opinion, could not hold his feet. According to Hearn, it was an “average fight“. “It was a poor fight, really. I’m so disappointed with Zorrilla. I think we could have had a great fight tonight, and it wasn’t. It was an average fight,” Hearn added.
