In a recent interview with Boxingscene.com ‘The Problem Child’ expressed his belief that Diaz underestimates him. He also claimed to be a more motivated fighter than ever before and will come out victorious on August 5th.

He’s dealing with a more motivated fighter than I ever have been. I’m going to go in there and f**k this dude up. I’m pi**ed off. Especially because everybody says he’s this tough guy, Stockton gangster, all this sh*t, and then he gets in person and is complimenting me and being respectful and doesn’t really have sh*t to say.” said Paul

However, What particularly irked Paul was Diaz’s demeanor during their  press conference. The Stockton native, known for his tough-guy persona, surprised Paul by showing respect and offering compliments instead of engaging in verbal warfare.
