“I’m Done With All This Crossover SH*T”: Following Controversial Victory Against KSI, Tommy Fury Snubs Possibility of Potential Rematch While Teasing Next Move

Tommy Fury has done it again. He defeated another undefeated influencer boxer by scorecards, before this he handed over his first career defeat to Jake Paul by a split decision. Now months later in the same year, Fury has also defeated British Youtuber KSI by a controversial majority decision. During the fight, both fighters struggled to keep their distance between each other and grappled through most of the fight. Fury and KSI, both of them couldn’t land a significant punch and showed some limitations.

With the scorecards displaying 57-57 and 57-56, Fury earned the bragging rights by a majority decision. The fight definitely divided the boxing world, as some felt Fury rightfully won, while others believed that KSI was “robbed.” But after the bout ended, Fury declared that he wasn’t going to fight in any other influencer boxing fight anymore. But why?

Tommy Fury wants to move on from YouTube boxing

In the post-fight interview, Tommy Fury talked about his victory in detail. The interviewer, Ariel Helwani, asked Fury about the prospects of a rematch with any of his defeated opponents, Jake Paul or KSI. Instantly, Tommy Fury refused and stated that he didn’t want to deal with such kinds of fights in the future, as he plans to become the World boxing champion.

Fury stated, “He goes his way, I go mine. I’m done with all this s**t, all this crossover s**t. I’m onto my next challenge now. I’m done with the bulls**t, f**k the bulls**t.” So, the anticipated Jake Paul rematch may never happen, and now even KSI would also want to run it up again.

Right after the decision was announced, the frustration was apparent in KSI’s interview after the bout. He couldn’t believe the decision and then lashed out in his post-fight interview even calling the decision a “robbery.”

KSI doesn’t agree with the result

The moment the fight ended, both fighters started celebrating, mainly because the corners felt that their side won. It was definitely a close fight. Although KSI landed more punches than Tommy Fury, the results were declared in favor of ‘TNT’ Tommy.

So, in the middle of Fury’s interview, KSI intervened and called the majority decision a “robbery.” He remarked, “Look at your face, look at your eyes. I’m the YouTuber and you’re the boxer. I understand you have to win.” After which Fury called KSI a “sore loser” because he wasn’t able to accept the loss.
