Ryan Garcia has had a complicated relationship with his former wife, Andrea Celina. While in the beginning, they seemed all rosey when they called it quits, it seemed like it was not so cordial. However, the two do have two children together, and it seems like they’re doing all that they can to maintain a healthy environment. This was evident from his recent social media post which he made to celebrate Mother’s Day.

On Instagram, ‘KingRy’ posted a carousel of images in which both his ex-wife and his mother, Lisa Garcia, were featured. He posted multiple images of Celina with their children through various phases of their children’s childhood. He also posted pictures of his mother holding him lovingly after a fight. In the captions, he wrote, “I love you both so much…Happy Mother’s Day…My heart is with you so deep oceans get jealous.”

While fans were pleased to see him wish his mother, they were shocked to see him revealing his affection for Andrea Celina, whom he divorced unceremoniously and abruptly earlier this year. Many took the opportunity to point this out in the comments. Soon the barrage of comments must have gotten under his skin prompting him to leave his comments on the same post. In comments, he noted, “To clear things up I’m divorced but that’s still the mother of my kids Henry and Bela…I still respect and love her…I’m sure that clears everything up.”

The polar reactions of fans about wishing Celina are not a surprise. After all, the premise here is the circumstances of the couple’s divorce and the situation that persisted after it.

In January this year, the couple announced the birth of their second child, Henry Garcia. The social media announcement initially kept all their fans on their happy toes. However, within moments, in a shocking move, the California-based fighter announced his divorce from Celina. He wrote on his Instagram stories, “As I step into a new chapter in my life, it’s with a heavy heart to share that Drea and I have decided to divorce.”

The fighter did relay that their separation is amicable and will entail a happy co-parenting situation between them. Garcia further noted, “As we move forward, my focus remains on the health and wellbeing of our two beautiful kids … I believe our devotion to our children is rock solid, and I trust that together, we will continue to provide them with the love, support, and stability they deserve.” 

However, Celina insinuated something else. She posted the screenshot of a song’s poster – “Love the Way You Lie” by Eminem and Rihanna on her Instagram Stories. The couple started dating in 2019. The following year, they welcomed their first child, a daughter named, Bela. As per reports, they got married in 2021.

The timing of his divorce and what Celina had to say about it nudged fans to assume that the former couple were anything but cordial with each other. But his recent show of love raises some prominent questions about the nature of their current relationship.
