A couple of years back, the YouTuber Logan Paul entered his first professional boxing bout. Back then, no one expected him to turn into such a big star in the sport. But crushing all the naysayers from his way, Paul became a household name of boxing. Now, ‘The Maverick’, who is also the flag bearer of celebrity boxing bouts, will box the greatest of all time, Floyd Mayweather.

The pair will touch gloves with each other in an exhibition bout on June 6, in Miami Florida. This fight has captured everyone’s attention for obvious reasons. Also, this is probably the biggest opponent Paul may share the ring with.

In a recent conversation with Trevor Noah of The Daily Show, Paul said, “People ask the question ‘why would I fight Floyd Mayweather?’ It’s because my kids’ kids will talk about this. Generations to come will talk about this moment in history and when I accepted this fight I understood the magnitude of what a special event this was.”

Floyd Mayweather had one of the most cracking boxing careers of all time. He last took up an exhibition fight in 2018 against Tenshin Nasukawa. This proved to be an easy outing for ‘Money’ as it took him just one round to batter the young gun.

Despite knowing Mayweather and his boxing prowess, Paul is still confident about producing astonishing results on the June 6 showdown.

Can Logan Paul pull off a huge upset by defeating Floyd Mayweather?

‘TBE’ in his vast professional career, went toe-to-toe against 50 opponents. In over 20 years, none of his foes could stagger him and make it appear that they were in control in the squared circle. However, Paul feels ‘Pretty Boy’ is human and beatable.

Paul’s giant cruiserweight frame and reach will definitely help him with a certain edge over Mayweather, but he’ll have to craft and execute significant strategies to actually defeat him.
