“I’ll Never Forget What Hulu Stole From Me”: Mike Tyson Praises Dana White for Turning Down “Millions” From Hulu

Hulu, an American subscription streaming service, has produced a series that details the incredible life of former two-time heavyweight champ Mike Tyson. They have released the trailer, and the first episode will be available on the Disney owned platform on August 25.

Ahead of the highly anticipated release, ‘The Baddest Man on Planet’ accused the streaming service of trying to cut him out of the deal. According to the 56-year-old, Hulu was going to release the biopic series based on him on its platform without offering him a single dollar. They tried to manipulate the UFC president, Dana White, by putting forth a million-dollar offer in front of him. Interestingly, it went wrong as White turned down the offer, respecting his friendship with ‘Kid Dynamite’.

This made Tyson praise White. He took to Instagram and admired the UFC boss.

“Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother @danawhite millions without offering me a dollar to promote. Their slave master take over a story about my life. He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity.  I’ll never forget what he did for me just like I’ll never forget what Hulu stole from me,” Tyson wrote.

A look at a series that would depict the legendary Mike Tyson

The eight-part limited series would present Tyson’s life story on screen that would detail how a man from a troubled childhood channeled his wrath under the wings of his father figure Cus D’ Amato to become one of the greatest heavyweights of all time. It also highlights the hottest storylines of Tyson’s life.

Trevante Rhodes would live Tyson’s life on camera. Along with him, Harvey Keitel, Laura Harrier, Russell Hornsby, and Li Eubanks would play a supportive role. The first two episodes would be available on August 25. The next episodes would be released in the subsequent weeks.
